The Hellpup from Pioneer Arms is a compact AK Pistol built for a fun shooting experience. The Hellpup was initially released in the legendary 7.62x39mm cartridge that has been rocking in the AK platform for years but now comes in the common 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge. This opens up the possibility of using a wider range of ammunition. This new production AK is made with a forged trunnion for maximum strength and longevity. The pistol comes with AKM style furniture and sights lending to a wide variety of aftermarket support. The enlarged magazine release is meant for easer mag changes and more positive magazine retention. This particular model doesn’t come with the side rail for the addition of optics. In all this AK Pistol is built to give you options for enjoying a classic eastern platform in a western caliber
