Four features define the VP9CC’s carry and duty advantage. The factory-mounted Vortex Defender CCW is a top-of-the-line micro-sized closed-emitter optic — the enclosed emitter design protects the LED and lens from the debris, moisture, and impact exposure that open-emitter optics are vulnerable to on a carry gun that endures daily holster cycling and environmental exposure. The new optic mounting system positions all compatible optics lower to the slide than standard plate-based systems, reducing the sight-over-bore height that affects near-distance point-of-aim and improving the pistol’s handling profile for concealed carry holsters.
